1)  How do you pronounce your name?

'Säm-faf: The "O" in SOMBFAF is pronounced like in the word "Tom," followed by "Faf" (pronounced like the word "laugh").

2)  What is SOMBFAF?

SOMBFAF is a charity dedicated to supporting not-for-profit animal shelters and organizations that prevent animal cruelty and animal suffering.

3)  What does SOMBFAF do?

SOMBFAF raises money for not-for-profit animal shelters.  Animal shelters provide homes for unwanted and stray animals.  They sometimes provide low- or no-cost emergency vet services for low-income pet owners and low- or no-cost spay and neuter procedures.

When an animal shelter has no more room for incoming unwanted or stray animals, and someone cannot be found to adopt them, they are usually put to sleep.  Lack of money is usually the sole reason for this.  We want to give more animals a chance to live happy lives with their adopted families, rather than be put to sleep for lack of funds.

5)  How can I help?

There are several ways you can help.  One is to donate (see below and FAQ #4).  You can also volunteer to help at one of our benefits or to promote our events.  We are continuously looking for people to help roadie (maintain & transport music equipment), advertise for & help promote our events, sell merchandise at our events, MC, and lots of other roles.  We also hold raffles to benefit the animal shelters we support, so if you have something of value that you would like to donate, please contact us.
